You Don’t Have to Navigate It Alone
Are you feeling scattered, overwhelmed, or struggling to keep up with life’s demands? Maybe you feel unmotivated, have difficulty starting or finishing tasks, struggle with sleepless nights, or find it hard to connect with others.
Whether you’re navigating ADHD, the pressure of cultural expectations, or relationships where you don’t feel fully understood, you don’t have to face these challenges alone.
Life is hard. And sometimes, you have to go a little deeper than traditional talk therapy to understand the layers of your experiences and what may be keeping you stuck.
In our work together, we’ll focus on gaining insight, building self-understanding, and healing old wounds. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) as one of the approaches that guides my work. IFS offers a compassionate way to understand the different “parts” of ourselves—the thoughts, emotions, protective patterns, and coping strategies that can sometimes seem confusing or even work against us.
You may have found yourself wondering, “Why do I do that?” Instead of judging these patterns, we can become curious about them. Through an IFS-informed approach, we explore what these parts may be trying to protect, where they came from, and what they need in order to feel safer and less burdened.
I believe that many of the ways we’ve learned to cope—even those that may no longer serve us—developed for a reason. What once helped you survive difficult experiences can also reveal remarkable strengths.
For example, hypervigilance, sensitivity, and heightened awareness may have helped you navigate challenging environments. With greater understanding and healing, these qualities can become sources of empathy, compassion, insight, and purpose rather than something you feel you have to fight against.
My goal is not to change who you are or get rid of the parts of yourself you struggle with. It’s to help you understand yourself with greater compassion, heal what has hurt you, and reconnect with the strengths that have been there all along.
Life’s journey can often feel overwhelming, especially when dealing with issues such as:
Organization, ADHD, and executive dysfunction that leave you feeling scattered and overwhelmed.
Avoidance of social situations or feeling disconnected from others.
Navigating cultural expectations or feeling like you don't quite fit in.
Struggling with setting boundaries and forming attachments in relationships.
Feeling unheard, unseen, or misunderstood by those closest to you.
Dealing with low self-esteem, self-doubt, or a lack of confidence.
Coping with and managing chronic health issues.
Searching for purpose and direction, unsure of what’s important to you or what you value.
Looking to better understand yourself and how your life has shaped you.
Healing from all forms of trauma, whether it's PTSD or the lingering effects of "little t" traumas.
I am a therapist in Michigan, and I’m so grateful you’re here!
Deciding to seek therapy is a big step, and my goal is to make this process as welcoming and comfortable as possible.
Whether you’re feeling unfulfilled in your relationships or searching for a deeper sense of purpose, I’m here to support you on your journey.
I use a blend of evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
My goal is to guide you toward gaining insight, healing old wounds, and building skills that empower you in your everyday life.
Inside and outside therapy sessions, I’m approachable, down-to-earth, and genuinely invested in creating a space where you can be your authentic self.
I love fall, Halloween, and find joy in the simple pleasures like decorating or tending to my garden. Just like gardening, I believe in creating the right conditions for growth and transformation in therapy.
